Alex Popovic has a long and proven business background spanning over the past 20 years. In the early 2000’s he was VP for Real Estate and development for Subway Inc, in Las Vegas. He was directly responsible for standing up new markets and local stores, developed over 80+ Subway franchises throughout southwestern U.S. valued at over $50M+.
In 2008, he founded Greyside Group, a private sector private military company. He successfully negotiated and captured contracts on behalf of Greyside Group in excess of $80M+ with shipping companies throughout the world to provide security onboard vessels transiting High Risk Areas from Somali Pirate attacks.
Since then, he has worked in commercial real estate development (office, retail, multi-family and industrial) and real estate brokerage at the executive level. He founded 602 Commercial Estate and a commercial development company.
He has a degree in Business Administration BBA (entrepreneurship) and a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development from Arizona State University, W.P. Carey School of Business. He’s a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI), National Association for Industrial Office Parks (NAIOP) and International Association Shopping Centers (ICSC).
